Who we are
Venturer (venturer.dev) is an AI crew that researches business ideas and helps founders build them. Venturer is for people aged 18 or older only. Questions or requests: privacy@venturer.dev.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, with the date you gave it.
- Referral information: a referral code we generate for you, and the code of the friend who invited you, if any.
- A source tag from the link you came through (for example
?src=newsletter), if there was one. - An anti-abuse fingerprint of your network address. We store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address with your signup, and short-lived counters keyed to the same hash (deleted within two days). We can't turn the hash back into your address. We use it only to limit bots and to stop fake referrals.
- Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page-load speed on this site. It doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't fingerprint visitors.
- Technical data. Our hosting and database providers process your request and may log your IP address and browser details for security and reliability.
Your browser also stores your referral code and your light or dark preference in local storage so your link and display settings work. We don't use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To put you on the waitlist and show you your place in line and how many friends joined with your link.
- To email you about Venturer, such as your invite and launch updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To prevent abuse, such as fake or repeated signups.
Who we share it with
We use a database provider (Supabase, in the United States) and a hosting provider (Cloudflare) to run the waitlist. They process data for us and don't use it for their own purposes. We never sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We delete waitlist entries 24 months after you join, or 90 days after Venturer opens to everyone, whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again.
Your choices
To see what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email privacy@venturer.dev from the address you signed up with. We reply within 45 days.
Age
You must be 18 or older to join. If we learn that someone under 18 has joined, we delete their information.

Venturer is currently offered to people in the United States.
